What is IO?

Intermezzo Orchestra (IO)  is designedforintermediate-level players who obtained ABRSM Grade 7 or above.  InOctober 2009, Intermezzo Orchestraperformed with life warrior Nick Vujicic on“Concert of Hope”, which received high acclaimed from HKSAR Chief Executive Mr.Donald Tsang blog.   We extended our performance platform to Shenzhenand we performed “Beautiful Sunday Concert”at Shenzhen Concert Hall in May2009.

During2010 summer, our members performed with MBCYouth Orchestra in Kagoshima, Japan.  Someof them even travelled to Watoto Children Village in Uganda, Africa to buildhouses for the Watoto Children.

Theorchestra is conducted by Wu Chung Fan, the conductor of Metropolitan YouthOrchestra of Hong Kong.
